In parallel to the commercial circuits of the movie theatres, another form of creation exists ; not for the simple contradiction or reaction, but to satisfy another cultural need, to widen the creativity and innovation field, and to raise awareness artistically and culturally. This is how the Festival International de Film et Vidéo de Création takes position among the contemporary art events today.

The Festival International de Film et Vidéo de Création is a festival that takes place in Beirut (Lebanon) each two years, and joins selections from multiple film and video festivals on the globe. It is organized by the School of Plastic Arts of the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts (ALBA) - Beirut.
