In parallel to the commercial circuits of the movie theatres, another form of creation exists ; not for the simple contradiction in the construction, but to satisfy another cultural need, to widen the creation field of the authors and to raise awareness aesthetically, artistically and culturally. This is how the INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF CREATION FILM AND VIDEO takes position among the contemporary art events today.

The INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF CREATION FILM AND VIDEO is a festival that takes place in Beirut (Lebanon), and joins selections from multiples film and video festivals on the globe.

The FESTIVAL is a project by ALBA (University of Balamand) - Sin El Fil, and the Goethe-Institut - Beirut, in collaboration with the Royal Netherlands’ Embassy and Zico House.
